1. Overview

The KINGrinder K2 Manual Hand Coffee Grinder is engineered for precision and durability, providing a consistent grind for various coffee brewing methods. Its robust construction and intuitive design ensure a reliable and enjoyable coffee preparation experience.

2. Setup

2.1. Component Identification

Familiarize yourself with the main components: the grinder body, handle, conical burr, and catch cup. The grinder is designed for easy hand-disassembly for cleaning.

2.2. Grind Adjustment

The KINGrinder K2 features an interior adjustment design. To adjust the grind size, locate the adjustment dial at the bottom of the grinder. Each click adjusts the grind by 18 micrometers. There are 40 clicks in a single full revolution of the interior number. This allows for precise control over your grind, suitable for various brewing methods.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Loading Coffee Beans

Open the top lid of the grinder. The hopper volume is approximately 20g to 25g of coffee beans. Pour your desired amount of whole coffee beans into the hopper.

3.2. Grinding Process

Attach the handle to the top shaft of the grinder. Hold the grinder firmly by its body, utilizing the non-budging band for a secure grip. Turn the handle clockwise to begin grinding. Continue turning until all beans have passed through the burr and collected in the catch cup.

4. Maintenance

4.1. Cleaning

The KINGrinder K2 is designed for portable and friendly cleaning. You can easily dismantle the grinder with your bare hands. Use a brush to clean the burrs and internal components. Ensure all coffee grounds are removed to maintain optimal performance and prevent build-up.

• Avoid using water for cleaning; use a dry brush to remove coffee grounds.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1. Inconsistent Grind

• Ensure the grind adjustment is securely set and has not shifted during grinding.
• Verify that the burrs are clean and free of old coffee residue.

5.2. Difficulty Grinding

• Check if the grind setting is too fine for the type of beans or desired output. Adjust to a coarser setting if resistance is too high.
• Ensure the grinder is held firmly and stably during operation.
