Getting Started: Setup

1. Package Contents

Before you begin, ensure all items are present in the package:

• TIQ mini F22 Pro Smart Phone
• Charging Cable (USB Type-C)
• User Manual (this document)
• Phone Case (included as mounting hardware)

2. Charging the Device

The F22 Pro has a 2120 mAh Lithium Ion battery. Connect the provided charging cable to the phone's USB-C port and plug the other end into a compatible 5V 2A power adapter (not included). The phone does not support fast charging.

A full charge typically takes several hours. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.

3. Inserting SIM Card and Powering On

The F22 Pro supports 4G cellular technology. Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the device. Use the provided SIM ejector tool (if included) to open the tray. Insert your Nano-SIM card into the tray, ensuring proper orientation. Close the tray securely.

To power on the device, press and hold the Power button (usually located on the side) until the screen illuminates and the TIQ mini logo appears.

4. Initial Setup Wizard

Upon first power-on, the phone will guide you through an initial setup process. This includes:

• Language selection
• Connecting to a Wi-Fi network
• Setting up your Google account (essential for Google Playstore access)
• Setting date and time
• Setting up screen lock (PIN, pattern, or password)

Operating Your Device

1. Navigation and Interface

The F22 Pro combines a touch screen with physical buttons. You can navigate the Android 12.0 interface using touch gestures on the 3.54-inch IPS display. The physical keypad allows for traditional dialing and text input.

The central navigation button on the keypad can be used for scrolling and selection in certain menus.

2. Making Calls and Sending Messages

Use the physical keypad to dial numbers or select contacts from your phonebook. Press the green call button to initiate a call. To send messages, open the messaging application and use either the on-screen keyboard or the physical keypad for text input.

3. Connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Hotspot)

• Wi-Fi: Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi to connect to available Wi-Fi networks.
• Bluetooth: Enable Bluetooth in Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences > Bluetooth to pair with headphones, speakers, or other Bluetooth devices.
• Hotspot: Share your phone's 4G internet connection by enabling the Wi-Fi hotspot feature in Settings > Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering > Wi-Fi hotspot.

4. Using Google Playstore and Applications

The F22 Pro comes with Google Playstore pre-installed, allowing you to download and install a wide variety of applications such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, and more. Ensure you are logged into your Google account to access the Playstore.

5. Camera Functionality

The phone features an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera (Sony Imx219 sensor). To take photos or record videos, open the Camera application. Tap the screen to focus, and press the shutter button to capture an image.

6. Versatile Usage

• Software Updates: Periodically check for system updates in Settings > System > System update to ensure your device has the latest features and security patches.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid exposing the phone to extreme temperatures. It is recommended to keep the battery charge between 20% and 80% for optimal longevity.
