3. Setup Guide

3.1 Physical Installation

The EMEET NOVA 4K Webcam offers flexible mounting options:

1. Monitor Mounting: The webcam features an adjustable stand designed to securely grip the top of most computer monitors or laptop screens. Ensure the stand is firmly seated to prevent movement.

3.2 Connecting to Your Device

The EMEET NOVA 4K Webcam utilizes a simple plug-and-play USB 2.0 connection:

1. Locate an available USB Type-A port on your computer (PC or Mac).
2. Insert the USB cable from the webcam into the USB port.
3. The webcam will be automatically recognized by your operating system (Windows 10/11, macOS 10.14+, Android TV 7.0+). No additional drivers are typically required.

3.3 Initial Software Configuration

While the webcam is plug-and-play, some settings may need adjustment for optimal performance:

• Default Resolution: The webcam's video resolution may default to 1080P in some applications. To switch to 4K, you will need to adjust the settings within your built-in camera software or third-party applications such as PotPlayer or OBS.
• EMEETLINK Software: For fine-tuning image settings like brightness, contrast, and saturation, download and install the EMEETLINK software from the official EMEET website. This software also allows for activating backlight compensation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Video Performance

The EMEET NOVA 4K Webcam delivers Ultra 4K HD video at 30 frames per second (FPS) with a CMOS sensor. For the best visual experience:

• 4K Resolution: As noted in Setup, ensure your application settings are configured for 4K output if desired. Note that many streaming/meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams) may default to 720P/1080P and do not natively support 4K. For true 4K live streaming, professional encoder software like OBS or YouTube Studio is required.
• Autofocus (PDAF): The webcam features Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) technology for fast and accurate focusing within a fixed range of 7.9 to 118 inches. Manual focus is not supported.
• Automatic Light Correction: The webcam automatically adjusts to lighting conditions. Further adjustments can be made via EMEETLINK software.
• Field of View (FOV): The webcam has a fixed 73° FOV. It does not support facial tracking or FOV adjustment.

4.2 Audio Performance

5. Maintenance
