|---|---|---|

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your KINGrinder K6.
- Do Not Wash with Water: The grinder should not be cleaned with water. Water can damage the burrs and internal mechanisms.
- Use Included Brush: Use the provided cleaning brush to remove coffee grounds from the burrs and internal components.
- Regular Cleaning: Clean the grinder regularly, especially after each use, to prevent oil buildup and maintain grind consistency.

6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Grinding Difficulty or Inconsistency
- Check Grind Setting: Ensure the grind setting is appropriate for your beans and brewing method. A setting that is too fine can make grinding difficult.
- Clean Burrs: Accumulated coffee oils and fines can affect performance. Clean the burrs thoroughly with the provided brush.
- Bean Quality: Ensure you are using fresh, good quality coffee beans.
6.2 Power Tool Use
While the KINGrinder K6 is designed to be compatible with power tools for grinding, it is generally not recommended for optimal performance or grind consistency. Manual grinding allows for better control over the grinding speed and torque, which is crucial for achieving a uniform grind, especially for espresso. Using a power tool too fast can cause beans to spring up in the hopper, and too slow may not provide sufficient torque for efficient grinding.
