Roof Rail Requirements:

The cross bars are compatible with raised side rails that have gaps on the roof, as well as flush raised side rails. The maximum adjustable size distance between the rails is 50 inches. Your roof rail cross-section width must be within 21mm-50mm.

4. Setup and Installation

Installation Steps:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Ensure all listed components are present. The keys are typically attached to the foam inside the box.
2. Adjust Length: Open the covers at both ends of each cross bar. Use the provided hex wrench to adjust the length of the cross bar to match the distance between your vehicle's raised side rails. The adjustable range is from 34.6 inches to 50 inches. Ensure both ends are adjusted equally for a balanced fit.
3. Position Cross Bars: Place the adjusted cross bars onto your vehicle's raised side rails. Ensure they are evenly spaced and parallel to each other.
4. Clamp to Rails: The clamping mechanism has two screws to adjust the height for clamping the raised side rails. Adjust the clamp height to securely grip your vehicle's rails. For rails with gaps, ensure the clamp holds completely. For flush rails, the adjustable depth does not need to be fully embedded; about half the depth will provide a firm hold.
5. Secure and Lock: Once the cross bars are securely clamped, use the provided keys to lock the mechanism. This reinforces the attachment and helps prevent theft. Ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged.
6. Final Check: Before driving, gently shake the installed cross bars to confirm they are firmly attached and do not wobble. Double-check all adjustments and locks.
