Safety Lock Design
The feeder features a safety lock on the lid and between the food tank and the main body. This design prevents accidental spills if the feeder is knocked over and ensures pets cannot access the food reservoir directly.

Twist Lock Lid
The lid is equipped with a twist-lock mechanism to keep food fresh and prevent pets from opening it. To open, twist the lid counter-clockwise. To close, align and twist clockwise until secure.

Setup
1. Power Supply
The feeder can be powered by the included AC adapter or by 4 D-cell batteries (not included). For reliable operation, especially during power outages, it is recommended to use both power sources simultaneously.
- AC Adapter: Connect the USB cable to the feeder and plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder and insert 4 D-cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
The feeder supports both AC power and battery backup.
2. Fill the Food Tank
- Unlock and remove the lid by twisting it counter-clockwise.
- Pour dry pet food into the 3L transparent tank. Ensure the kibble size is between 2mm and 12mm.
- Replace the lid and twist clockwise to lock it securely.
3. App Download and Connection
The feeder requires the Smart Life app for remote control and scheduling. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network.
- Scan the QR code provided in the manual or on the product packaging to download the Smart Life app, or search for "Smart Life" in your app store.
- Register or log in to your Smart Life account.
- Open the app, enable Bluetooth and WiFi on your phone. The app should automatically detect the feeder. If not, tap "Add Device" and select the pet feeder from the list.
- Follow the in-app instructions to connect the feeder to your 2.4GHz WiFi network. You will need to enter your WiFi name and password.
- Once connected, the feeder will appear in your app, ready for configuration.

Operating Instructions
1. Setting a Feeding Schedule (App Control)
Use the Smart Life app to customize your pet's feeding schedule. You can set up to 10 meals per day, with 1 to 36 portions per meal.
- Open the Smart Life app and select your feeder.
- Navigate to the "Schedule" section.
- Tap "Add" to create a new feeding time.
- Set the desired time, number of portions (1-36), and days of the week for the feeding.
- Save the schedule. You can enable or disable schedules as needed.

2. Manual Feeding (App or Device)
You can dispense food instantly outside of the schedule.
- Via App: On the feeder's main screen in the app, tap the "Feed" button and select the number of portions to dispense immediately. (Note: Manual feeding via app requires the feeder to be in plug-in mode).
- Via Device: Press the "Feed" button on the feeder's control panel to dispense one portion instantly.
Remote manual feeding is available through the app when the feeder is plugged in.
3. Feeding History and Alerts

Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your pet feeder.
- Disassembly: Remove the stainless steel bowl, then unlock and detach the transparent food tank from the main unit.
- Washable Parts: The stainless steel bowl, food tank, and impeller components can be hand-washed with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembly.
- Main Unit: The main unit, which contains electronic components, is NOT washable. If it gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth and dry immediately.
- Reassembly: Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling. Attach the food tank to the main unit, ensuring the safety lock engages. Place the stainless steel bowl.
