The AIWA MSBTU-700 is a versatile HiFi stereo system featuring DAB+/FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, CD/MP3 playback, USB input, and AUX-IN. It delivers powerful and clear sound through its two speaker boxes.

4.1 Front Panel

The front panel includes the main display, power/standby button, Bluetooth button, various playback controls (Menu, Play/Pause, Skip), CD Eject, Source selection, AUX-IN port, USB port, and microphone inputs with independent volume and echo controls. 4.3 Speakers

The system includes two high-performance speaker boxes designed to deliver clear audio with HyperBASS drivers. Each speaker connects to the main unit via the provided speaker cables.

5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your AIWA MSBTU-700 system.

5.1 Speaker Connection

  1. Identify the left (L) and right (R) speaker output terminals on the rear of the main unit.
  2. Connect one end of each speaker cable to the corresponding terminals on the main unit, ensuring correct polarity (red to red, black to black).
  3. Connect the other end of the speaker cables to the terminals on the back of each speaker box, again observing polarity.

5.2 Antenna Connection

Connect the supplied FM antenna to the 'ANTENNA' input on the rear panel of the main unit. Extend the antenna fully and position it for optimal reception.

5.3 Power Connection

Plug the AC power cord into the power inlet on the rear of the main unit, then plug the other end into a standard wall outlet. The unit will enter standby mode.

5.4 Initial Setup (Clock)

Upon first power-on or after a power interruption, you may need to set the clock. Refer to the 'Clock Function' section in Operating Instructions for detailed steps. The display supports both 12-hour and 24-hour formats.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the STANDBY/ON button on the front panel or the remote control to switch the unit on or off (standby mode).

6.2 Source Selection

Press the SOURCE button on the front panel or the remote control repeatedly to cycle through available input sources: CD, DAB+, FM, Bluetooth (BT), USB, AUX-IN.

6.3 CD Playback

  1. Select the CD source.
  2. Press the CD EJECT button to open the CD tray.
  3. Place a CD or CD-MP3 disc onto the tray with the label side facing up.
  4. Press CD EJECT again to close the tray. Playback will begin automatically or after pressing PLAY/PAUSE.

6.4 DAB+/FM Radio

Select DAB+ or FM source. Use the TUNE +/- buttons on the remote or navigation buttons on the unit to scan for stations. Press SCAN on the remote for automatic scanning. Save preferred stations as presets using the PRESET function.

6.5 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Select the Bluetooth (BT) source. The display will show 'PAIR' or similar, indicating it's ready for pairing.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone), search for available devices.
  3. Select 'AIWA MSBTU-700' from the list. Once connected, the display will confirm the connection.

6.6 USB Playback

Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port on the front panel. Select the USB source. The system will automatically detect and begin playing MP3 files. Use the playback controls to navigate tracks.

6.7 AUX-IN Usage

Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX-IN port on the front panel using the supplied AUX cable. Select the AUX-IN source. Audio from the connected device will now play through the system.

6.8 Microphone Input

Connect a 6.3mm microphone to the MIC input on the front panel. Adjust the microphone volume using the MIC VOL knob and add echo effect with the MIC ECHO knob.

6.9 Volume, Bass, Treble, and Equalizer

Adjust the master volume using the large rotary knob on the front panel or VOL +/- buttons on the remote. Use the BASS +/- and TREBLE +/- buttons on the remote to fine-tune audio. The system also features a built-in preset equalizer, accessible via the EQ button on the remote.

6.10 Clock and Alarm Function

The system features a clock display (12/24 hour format) and an alarm function. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full manual for setting the clock and configuring alarms and sleep timers.

6.11 Remote Control
