Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your NUX NEK-100, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the surface of the keyboard. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water and a mild soap, then wipe dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. If storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to maintain battery health.
- Battery Care: The NEK-100 features a 3000mAh rechargeable battery. For best battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge it when the low battery indicator appears.
- Connectivity Ports: Keep all input/output ports (3.5mm Stereo Phones Out, 6.35mm Stereo Aux Out, 3.5mm Stereo Aux In, Sustain Pedal Jack, USB MIDI) free from dust and debris.
- Key Care: Avoid excessive force on the keys. If a key becomes sticky, gently clean around it with a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
