2. Safety Information
Your safety and the safety of others are paramount. Always follow these safety precautions:
- Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Generators produce carbon monoxide (CO), an odorless, colorless, and poisonous gas. Operating a generator indoors or in an enclosed space can kill you in minutes. ALWAYS operate the generator outdoors in a well-ventilated area, far from windows, doors, and vents.
- CO Sensor: This generator is equipped with a CO sensor that automatically shuts down the engine if dangerous levels of carbon monoxide are detected. Do not bypass or disable this safety feature.
- Electrical Shock Hazard: Never operate the generator in wet conditions. Ensure all electrical connections are dry and secure.
- Fire Hazard: Gasoline is highly flammable. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cooled. Do not smoke while refueling.
- Hot Surfaces: The generator's engine and muffler become very hot during operation and remain hot for some time after shutdown. Avoid touching hot surfaces.
3. Components Overview
3.1 Control Panel
The control panel provides access to all operational controls and output receptacles.

Figure 2: Control Panel Layout
- Power Indicator: Illuminates when the generator is producing power.
- Overload Protection: Automatically cuts power to prevent damage from excessive load.
- Low Oil Shutoff: Stops the engine to protect it when oil levels are low.
- CO Sensor: Automatically shuts down the engine upon carbon monoxide detection.
- 120V 20A Outlets: Standard household outlets for general use.
- 120V 30A RV Outlet: Specifically designed for RV connections.
- DC 12V Outlet: For charging 12V batteries or powering compatible DC devices.
- ECO Mode Switch: Reduces engine speed for quieter operation and improved fuel efficiency under light loads.
- Parallel Operation Outlets: Allows connection of two compatible Gidrox inverter generators for increased power output.

4. Setup
4.1 Adding Engine Oil
Before first use, the engine must be filled with the recommended oil. Use SAE 10W-30 or 5W-30 engine oil. Do not overfill.
- Place the generator on a level surface.
- Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick.
- Using the provided funnel, slowly pour the correct amount of oil into the engine until it reaches the upper limit mark on the dipstick.
- Replace the oil fill cap/dipstick securely.
4.2 Adding Fuel
Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do not use E85 fuel.
- Ensure the engine is off and cooled before refueling.
- Remove the fuel cap.
- Slowly add gasoline to the fuel tank, being careful not to overfill.
- Securely replace the fuel cap.

5.3 Parallel Operation
To increase your total power output, you can connect two compatible Gidrox inverter generators using a parallel kit (sold separately).
- Ensure both generators are off and on a level surface.
- Connect the parallel cables to the designated parallel operation outlets on both generators.
- Start both generators according to the standard starting procedure.
- Once both generators are running, you can connect your devices to the outlets on either generator.

5.4 Stopping the Generator
To safely shut down the generator:
- Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
- If ECO mode is on, switch it to 'OFF'.
- Turn the engine switch to the 'OFF' position.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your generator. Refer to the full user manual for detailed maintenance schedules.
- Oil Change: Change engine oil after the first 20 hours or first month of use, then every 100 hours or 6 months thereafter.
- Spark Plug: Inspect and clean the spark plug regularly. Replace if necessary.
- Air Filter: Clean the air filter element regularly, especially in dusty conditions.
- Storage: For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank and carburetor, and perform an oil change.
7. Troubleshooting
If your generator experiences issues, consult the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Engine Not Starting: Check fuel level, oil level, spark plug condition, and ensure the choke is correctly set.
- No Power Output: Check circuit breakers, ensure the generator is not overloaded, and verify all connections.
- CO Sensor Shutdown: Move the generator to a more open, well-ventilated area.
For more detailed troubleshooting, refer to the complete user manual or contact customer support.
