The WANLUTECH HD-2900 is a versatile CCTV camera tester designed to support various camera types and testing functionalities. It features a 4.3-inch screen and is equipped with a built-in 3.7V/4000mAh battery for portability.

2. Setup
2.1 Package Contents
Verify that all items are present in the package:
- 1x WANLUTECH HD-2900 CCTV Tester
- 1x 5V 2A USB Charging Cable
- 1x BNC Cable
- 1x RS485 Cable
- 1x Audio Cable
- 1x Safety Cord/Wrist Belt
- 1x Cable Tester (UTP remote unit)
- 1x Power Output Cable

2.2 Initial Preparation
Before first use, open the battery cover and remove the paper piece isolating the battery. This ensures proper battery contact and functionality.
2.3 Interface Overview
Familiarize yourself with the ports and controls of the device:

- Power Button: Turns the device on/off.
- Video Input (BNC): For connecting AHD, TVI, CVI, and CVBS cameras.
- Audio In: For audio signal testing.
- UTP Cable Tester Port (RJ45): For network cable continuity and length testing.
- RS485: For PTZ control.
- DC12V/1A Power Output: Provides power to cameras.
- DC5V/2A USB Charging: For charging the device.
- LED Lamp: Provides illumination in dark environments.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Camera Testing (AHD/TVI/CVI/CVBS)
The HD-2900 supports testing of up to 8MP AHD, 8MP TVI, 8MP CVI, and Analog CVBS cameras. The HD app automatically recognizes AHD, CVI, and TVI cameras, displaying resolution and frame rate.

To test a camera:
- Connect the camera's video output to the tester's BNC video input.
- If the camera requires power, connect it to the tester's DC12V/1A power output.
- The tester will automatically detect the camera type and display the video feed.

3.2 UTP Cable Testing
The UTP Cable Tester function checks continuity and can detect near-end fault points of RJ45 cable plugs. It can measure network cable length up to 3000 meters.

Important: When testing network cable length, one end of the network cable must be connected to the tester, and the other end should not be connected to any other devices.
3.3 RS485 PTZ Control
The tester supports RS485 control for PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras, compatible with over 30 protocols and baud rates from 600-115200bps. It also allows calling the OSD menu of coaxial PTZ cameras.
3.4 Audio Test
Connect an audio source to the 1-channel audio signal input to test if the audio is functioning normally.

3.5 LED Flashlight
The built-in LED flashlight provides illumination for working in dark environments.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your WANLUTECH HD-2900, consider the following basic troubleshooting steps:
- Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Check if the battery isolation paper has been removed (refer to Section 2.2).
- No video signal: Verify all camera and video input connections are secure. Ensure the camera is powered correctly. Confirm the camera type is supported by the tester.
- UTP cable test failure: Ensure both ends of the UTP cable are properly connected to the tester and the remote unit. Confirm the cable is not connected to any other active network devices during testing.
- PTZ control not working: Check RS485 connections. Verify the correct protocol and baud rate are selected in the PTZ settings.
