1. Introduction

The ZEBRONICS Pixie is a compact 5W portable Bluetooth speaker designed for on-the-go audio. It supports Bluetooth v5.3 connectivity, Micro SD card playback, and features a built-in microphone for call functionality. The speaker also includes a True Wireless Stereo (TWS) function for connecting two Pixie speakers for a stereo experience and a convenient carry loop for portability.

Controls and Ports:

• Power Button (ⓘ): Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to play/pause music or answer/end calls.
• Volume Down Button (-): Short press to decrease volume. Long press for previous track.
• Volume Up Button (+): Short press to increase volume. Long press for next track.
• Type-C Charging Port: For charging the speaker.
• Micro SD Card Slot: For playing audio files directly from a Micro SD card.
• Microphone: For hands-free calling.
• LED Indicator: Indicates charging status and Bluetooth pairing status.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before initial use, fully charge the speaker. Use a Type-C cable to connect the speaker's charging port to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off once fully charged. A full charge provides up to 7 hours of playback at 50% volume.

4.2 Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (ⓘ) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED indicator lights up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button (ⓘ) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the LED indicator turns off.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and the LED indicator is blinking, indicating it is in pairing mode.
2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
3. Search for available Bluetooth devices.
4. Select "ZEB-PIXIE" from the list of devices.
5. Once paired, the LED indicator will stop blinking and remain solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

5.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Function

The TWS function allows you to connect two ZEBRONICS Pixie speakers together for a stereo audio experience.

1. Ensure both Pixie speakers are powered off.
2. Power on both speakers simultaneously.
3. Double-press the Power button on one of the speakers. It will search for the other speaker.
4. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the LED indicators on both speakers will indicate a successful TWS connection.
5. Now, connect your mobile device to one of the speakers via Bluetooth as described in section 5.1. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.

5.3 Micro SD Card Playback

To play music directly from a Micro SD card:

1. Insert a Micro SD card (up to 32GB) with MP3 audio files into the Micro SD card slot on the speaker.
2. The speaker will automatically detect the card and begin playing music.
3. Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons for track navigation (long press) and volume control (short press).

5.4 Call Function

When connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls.

• Answer Call: Short press the Power button (ⓘ) when an incoming call rings.
• End Call: Short press the Power button (ⓘ) during a call.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Power button (ⓘ) for 2 seconds when an incoming call rings.

6. Maintenance

• Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Avoid exposing the speaker to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
• Do not immerse the speaker in water as it is not waterproof.
• Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
• Charge the speaker regularly to maintain battery health, even if not used frequently.
