Setup

Camping Lantern Setup

  1. Battery Installation: Unscrew the base of the lantern. Insert three (3) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Replace the base securely.
  2. Handle Adjustment: The lantern features two foldable metal handles. Extend these handles for carrying or hanging, or fold them down for compact storage.

Headlamp Setup

  1. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the headlamp using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the cable to the headlamp's charging port and a compatible USB power source. The charging indicator will show progress.
  2. Strap Adjustment: Adjust the elastic head strap to ensure a comfortable and secure fit on your head.

Operating Instructions

Camping Lantern Operation

  • Power On/Off & Brightness: To turn the lantern on, pull the top section upwards. The light will illuminate. To adjust brightness, continue pulling the top section further up for brighter light, or push it down to dim. To turn off, fully collapse the lantern.
  • Portability: The collapsible design allows for easy storage and transport. Use the metal handles for hanging in tents or carrying.

Headlamp Operation

  • Power Button: Press the power button to cycle through the 6 lighting modes: COB High, COB Low, Spotlight High, Spotlight Low, Red Light, Red Strobe.
  • Motion Sensor: Activate the motion sensor feature by pressing the dedicated motion sensor button. Once activated, wave your hand in front of the sensor to turn the COB light on or off without pressing the power button.
  • Adjustable Spotlight: The spotlight can be manually adjusted to direct light to specific areas as needed.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of both devices with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
  • Battery Care (Lantern): Replace all three AA batteries simultaneously. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types. Remove batteries if the lantern will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
  • Battery Care (Headlamp): Recharge the headlamp regularly to maintain battery health. Avoid fully depleting the battery frequently.
  • Storage: Store both devices in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

Camping Lantern

  • Light does not turn on:
    • Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
    • Replace old or depleted batteries with new ones.
    • Confirm the lantern is fully extended to activate the light.
  • Light is dim:
    • Extend the lantern fully to achieve maximum brightness.
    • Replace batteries if they are low.

Headlamp

  • Headlamp does not turn on:
    • Ensure the headlamp is charged. Connect to a USB power source.
    • Press the power button firmly.
  • Motion sensor not responding:
    • Ensure the motion sensor feature is activated (indicated by a specific light or icon).
    • Check for obstructions covering the sensor.
    • Ensure the headlamp is adequately charged.
