1. Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of the Aqualin WiFi Professional Automatic Irrigation Computer System (11 Station), Model YL10475. This professional-grade controller is designed for managing irrigation systems in large areas such as extensive gardens, farmlands, courtyards, and golf courses. It offers precise and flexible irrigation scheduling capabilities, controllable via WiFi and a dedicated mobile application.
The system allows for up to six distinct irrigation programs, each with customizable start times, run durations, and frequencies. Key features include manual irrigation, a rain sensor delay function, and various scheduling modes to optimize water usage and plant health.
2. Setup and Installation

2.2 Physical Installation
The controller should be mounted in a location protected from direct weather exposure, yet accessible for wiring and operation. Ensure the mounting surface is stable.
- Mounting: Use the provided screws and anchors to securely fasten the controller to a wall or suitable surface.
- Wiring Solenoid Valves: Connect the wires from your solenoid valves to the corresponding station terminals on the controller. The controller supports up to 11 stations. Ensure proper common wire connection. Note: Additional solenoid valves must be purchased separately.
- Rain Sensor Connection: If using a rain sensor, connect it to the designated rain sensor terminals. This system supports normally closed (NC) rain sensors.
- Power Connection: Plug the EU standard power transformer into a suitable power outlet and connect it to the controller's power input.

3. Operation
3.1 Programming Irrigation Schedules
The controller supports up to six independent irrigation programs (P1-P6). Each program can have different start times, run durations, and watering frequencies.
- Select Program: In the mobile app, navigate to the 'Program' section and select the program you wish to configure (P1-P6).
- Set Watering Days: Choose one of three frequency modes:
- Weekly Mode: Select specific days of the week (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
- Interval Mode: Water every 1 to 15 days.
- Odd/Even Day Mode: Water on odd or even calendar days.
- Set Start Times: For each program, you can set multiple start times (up to 6). For example, 06:00, 09:00, 12:00, etc.
- Set Run Times: Specify the duration for each station within the selected program. Run times can range from 1 minute to 12 hours and 59 minutes.
- Assign Stations: Select which stations (valves) are active for the current program and their individual run times.

Figure 3.2: Detailed program settings within the app, illustrating weekly watering days and multiple start times.
3.2 Manual Irrigation
The controller allows for manual operation of individual stations or all stations simultaneously, overriding the programmed schedule temporarily.
- From the controller's dial or the mobile app, select the 'Manual' mode.
- Choose the specific station(s) you wish to run.
- Set the desired run time for the manual cycle. The maximum manual run time for each station is 12 hours and 59 minutes.
3.3 Rain Sensor Functionality and Delay
The system can be connected to a normally closed (NC) rain sensor to automatically suspend irrigation during rainfall, conserving water.
- When a connected rain sensor detects sufficient rainfall, it will interrupt scheduled irrigation cycles.
- Additionally, a manual rain delay function is available, allowing you to pause irrigation for 0, 24, 48, or 72 hours, even without a physical rain sensor. This can be set via the controller or the mobile app.

3.4 Water Budget and Seasonal Adjustment
The controller includes a water budget feature, also known as seasonal adjustment, which allows you to easily increase or decrease watering times for all active programs by a percentage. This is useful for adapting to changing seasonal needs without reprogramming each station individually.
- Access the 'Water Budget' or 'Seasonal Adjust' setting in the mobile app.
- Adjust the percentage to modify all program run times. For example, setting it to 50% will halve all watering durations, while 150% will increase them by 50%.

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your irrigation controller.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the exterior of the controller with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Inspection: Annually inspect all wiring connections for corrosion or damage. Ensure the power transformer is securely connected.
- Winterization: In regions with freezing temperatures, disconnect the controller and drain all water from the irrigation system to prevent freeze damage. Store the controller in a dry, protected area.
5. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Aqualin irrigation controller.
