1. Introduction

The EnGenius ECW536 is a high-performance, cloud-managed Wi-Fi 7 Tri-Band Access Point designed to deliver blazing-fast speeds and enhanced capacity for demanding business environments. 2.1 Package Contents

2.2 Physical Installation

The ECW536 is designed for effortless ceiling mounting. Ensure the chosen location provides optimal Wi-Fi coverage and is within reach of necessary power and network connections.

  1. Attach the mounting bracket to the desired ceiling location using appropriate hardware (not included).
  2. Connect the Ethernet cable(s) to the 10GE ports on the access point.
  3. If not using Power over Ethernet (PoE++), connect a 12VDC / 3A power adapter (not included) to the DC-In connector.
  4. Align the access point with the mounting bracket and twist to secure it in place.

The ECW536 is cloud-managed via EnGenius Cloud. Follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Ensure the access point is powered on and connected to your network.
  2. Access the EnGenius Cloud platform via a web browser or the EnGenius Cloud mobile app.
  3. Register your device by entering the serial number or scanning the QR code.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to integrate the ECW536 into your cloud network and configure basic Wi-Fi settings.

5.1 Factory Reset

To perform a factory reset, locate the reset button on the device (refer to the hardware overview in Section 6). Use a paperclip or similar pointed object to press and hold the reset button for approximately 10 seconds until the LED indicator changes, then release. The device will reboot with factory default settings.
