4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your milking machine:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
  2. Charge Battery: Before first use, fully charge the vacuum pump unit using the provided power adapter.
  3. Install Float Valve: Ensure the float valve is correctly installed underneath the bucket lid. This prevents milk from entering the pump when the bucket is full.
  4. Connect Hoses to Pump: Identify the numbered ports (1 and 2) on the vacuum pump unit. Connect the corresponding numbered hoses (1 and 2) from the milking cups to these ports.
  5. Connect Hoses to Bucket Lid: Identify the numbered ports (2 and 3) on the bucket lid. Connect the corresponding numbered hoses (2 and 3) from the vacuum pump unit to these ports.
  6. Attach Milking Cups: Connect the silicone milking cups to the appropriate hoses. The machine comes with different sized cups for goats and cows.
  7. Secure Lid: Place the lid firmly on the stainless steel bucket and secure it using the four-side buckle type latches to ensure a good seal.

5. Operating Instructions

Proper operation ensures efficient milking and animal comfort.

5.1 Animal Preparation

5.2 Starting Milking

  1. Turn On Pump: Locate the power switch on the vacuum pump unit and turn it ON. The power light will illuminate.
  2. Adjust Suction: Use the adjustable knob on the pump to set the desired vacuum pressure, typically between 45-50 kPa. The pulsation rate is 60-80 times per minute.
  3. Attach Milking Cups: Gently place the silicone milking cups onto the animal's teats. Ensure a snug fit to create a proper vacuum seal.
  4. Use Stopcock (if needed): If milking only one or two teats, use the stopcock clips on the milk tubes to block suction to unused cups, maintaining optimal pressure for the active cups.
  5. Monitor Milk Flow: Observe the milk flowing through the transparent hoses into the bucket.
  6. Auto-Stop Feature: The integrated float valve in the lid will automatically stop the milking process when the bucket is full, preventing overflow.

5.3 Finishing Milking

  1. Turn Off Pump: Once milking is complete or the auto-stop activates, turn off the vacuum pump unit.
  2. Remove Milking Cups: Gently break the vacuum seal and remove the milking cups from the teats.
  3. Post-Milking Care: Apply a suitable teat dip to the animal's teats to help prevent infection.

  4. Clean Bucket: Wash the stainless steel bucket with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  5. Final Rinse: Rinse all components again with clean, warm water to remove any detergent residue.
  6. Sanitize (Optional): For enhanced hygiene, you may use a food-grade sanitizer according to its instructions.
  7. Air Dry: Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembling or storing to prevent bacterial growth.
