2. Package Contents
Before proceeding with installation, please verify that all components are present in the package:

- Accessory kit (screws, standoffs, cable ties)

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Preparing the Case
- Unpack the Case: Carefully remove the BQ656 case from its packaging.
- Remove Side Panel: Locate the thumbscrew or latch on the rear of the case and remove the side panel to access the interior.

3.2 Motherboard Installation
- Install I/O Shield: Snap your motherboard's I/O shield into the opening at the rear of the case.
- Place Motherboard: Carefully align your Mini-ITX motherboard with the standoffs inside the case. Ensure the I/O ports align with the shield.
- Secure Motherboard: Use the provided screws to secure the motherboard to the standoffs. Do not overtighten.
3.3 Storage Device Installation
The BQ656 supports one slim optical drive or one 2.5" HDD/SSD in the front bay, and one additional internal 2.5" HDD/SSD.
- Slim Optical Drive / 2.5" HDD/SSD (Front Bay):
- If installing a slim optical drive, slide it into the front bay until it clicks into place or can be secured with screws.
- If installing a 2.5" HDD/SSD, use the provided bracket (if applicable) to mount the drive, then slide it into the front bay.
- Internal 2.5" HDD/SSD:
- Locate the internal 2.5" drive mounting area (typically on the bottom or side panel).
- Secure the 2.5" HDD/SSD using the provided screws.

3.4 Cable Management and Power Connections
- Connect PSU Cables: Connect the 24-pin ATX power cable and the 4/8-pin CPU power cable from the pre-installed 200W PSU to your motherboard.
- Connect Storage Power: Connect SATA power cables from the PSU to your installed storage devices.
- Connect Front Panel Cables: Connect the USB 3.0, HD Audio, Power Switch, Reset Switch, Power LED, and HDD LED cables from the case's front panel to the corresponding headers on your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for header locations.
- Organize Cables: Route cables neatly to ensure proper airflow and ease of future maintenance. Use cable ties if necessary.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
- Power On: Connect the power cord to the PSU inlet at the rear of the case and to a wall outlet. Press the power button located on the front panel.
- Power Off: Shut down your operating system normally. Once the system is off, you can disconnect the power cord if needed.
4.2 Front Panel Connectivity
- USB 3.0 Ports: Use these ports for high-speed data transfer with compatible USB 3.0 devices. They are also backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices.
- HD Audio Jacks: Connect headphones, microphones, or speakers to these jacks for audio input and output.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your InWin BQ656 case and its components.
- Dust Cleaning: Periodically clean dust from the case interior, especially around fan vents and components, using compressed air or a soft brush. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Cable Check: Occasionally check internal cables to ensure they are securely connected and not obstructing airflow.
- Ventilation: Ensure the case is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not block the ventilation holes.
