4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your DJI Mini 4K drone.
4.1 Propeller Replacement
Inspect propellers for any damage before each flight. If a propeller is bent, cracked, or broken, replace it immediately using the provided screwdriver and spare propellers. Ensure new propellers are installed correctly according to the markings on the drone arms.
4.2 Battery Care and Charging
Use the Two-Way Charging Hub to charge your Intelligent Flight Batteries. Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid overcharging or fully discharging batteries for extended periods to prolong their lifespan.
4.3 Storage
When not in use, fold the drone arms and secure the propellers with the propeller holder. Always attach the gimbal protector to prevent damage to the camera. Store the drone and all accessories in the provided shoulder bag to protect them from dust and physical damage.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your DJI Mini 4K, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- App Connectivity Issues: Ensure the DJI Fly app is the latest version downloaded from the official DJI website. Restart the app, remote controller, and drone.
- Unstable Flight: Check propellers for damage and replace if necessary. Ensure the gimbal protector is removed. The drone has 38kph (Level 5) wind resistance, but extreme winds may still affect stability.
- GPS Signal Loss: Fly in open areas away from tall buildings or strong magnetic interference. Ensure GPS is enabled in the app.
- Battery Not Charging: Verify all cables are securely connected to the Two-Way Charging Hub and a power source. Ensure batteries are properly inserted into the hub.
