Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
- Initial Cleaning: Wash the water tank, milk tank, filter holders, and drip tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth.
- Fill Water Tank: Fill the removable water tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level. Place it back into the machine.
- First Use / Priming: Before making coffee, perform a priming cycle. Fill the water tank, place a cup under the coffee outlet, and run a cycle without coffee or capsules to flush the system. Repeat for the milk system by filling the milk tank with water and running a frothing cycle.
Operating Instructions
Making Espresso with Powdered Coffee:
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Insert the desired filter (1-cup or 2-cup) into the espresso filter holder.
- Add ground coffee to the filter. Use the measuring spoon and tamper to level and lightly press the coffee.
- Attach the filter holder to the brewing head by aligning it and turning it to the right until secure.
- Place one or two cups on the drip tray, ideally on the cup preheating surface for optimal temperature.
- Press the 'Espresso' button. The machine will begin brewing.
- Press the 'Espresso' button again to stop brewing when the desired volume is reached.
Making Espresso with Nespresso Compatible Capsules:
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Insert the capsule adapter into the dedicated filter holder.
- Place a Nespresso compatible capsule into the adapter.
- Attach the filter holder to the brewing head.
- Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
- Press the 'Espresso' button to start brewing.
- Press the 'Espresso' button again to stop brewing.

Frothing Milk / Preparing Latte & Cappuccino:
- Fill the milk tank with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) up to the MAX level.
- Ensure the milk tank is securely attached to the machine.
- Adjust the milk froth quantity knob to your preference.
- Place a cup under the milk nozzle.
- Press the 'Latte' or 'Cappuccino' button. The machine will automatically dispense frothed milk and then coffee.
- For frothed milk only, press the 'Froth' button.

Cup Preheating Function:
The top surface of the machine is designed to gently preheat your coffee cups, helping to maintain the temperature of your espresso or coffee specialty for longer.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Daily Cleaning:
- Drip Tray: Empty and clean the drip tray and grid after each use or when the indicator shows it's full.
- Filter Holders: Remove and rinse the filter holders and filters under running water after each use.
- Milk Tank: The milk tank is removable and dishwasher safe. It should be cleaned thoroughly after each use to prevent milk residue buildup. The machine also has an automatic cleaning function for the milk system; refer to the control panel for the 'Clean Cappuccino' button.
- Water Tank: Rinse the water tank regularly.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Descaling:
Regular descaling is crucial for the longevity and performance of your espresso machine. The frequency depends on water hardness and usage. Use a suitable descaling solution designed for coffee machines and follow the product's instructions. Generally, a descaling cycle involves filling the water tank with the descaling solution and running it through the machine without coffee, followed by several rinses with fresh water.
