Setup

1. Drone Assembly

The SYMA X440 features a modular design for easy assembly. Match the labels on the propeller arms (A1, A2, B1, B2) with the corresponding slots on the drone's fuselage.

  1. Prepare all accessories from the package.
  2. Install the drone battery into the main body.
  3. Install the drone arms by aligning the corresponding symbols (A1, A2, B1, B2) and pushing them firmly until they click into place.
  4. Assembly is complete once all four arms are securely attached.

2. Battery Charging

The drone comes with two rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries. Use the provided USB charging cable.

  • Connect the USB charging cable to a computer, laptop USB charging port, or power bank.
  • Connect the other end of the cable to the drone battery.
  • The indicator light on the USB connector will illuminate RED while charging.
  • The light will turn off when the battery is fully charged. Charging typically takes about 30 minutes per battery.

3. Remote Control Setup

The remote control requires 4 AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert the batteries, observing correct polarity.

4. Pairing the Drone and Remote

  1. Ensure the drone battery is fully charged and installed.
  2. Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
  3. Turn on the drone. The LED lights on the drone will flash.
  4. Turn on the remote control.
  5. Push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down.
