Setup Instructions

1. Attaching the Quick Release Plate to Your Camera/Device

1. Locate the 1/4" or 3/8" screw on the quick release plate. The plate features a convertible screw for both sizes.
2. Align the screw with the mounting hole on the bottom of your camera or device.
3. Tighten the screw securely using a coin or hex key (if applicable) until the plate is firmly attached to your device. Ensure there is no rotation or wobble.

2. Attaching the Quick Release Mount to a Tripod/Monopod/Slider

1. Identify the 3/8" mounting thread at the base of the quick release mount.
2. Screw the quick release mount onto the 3/8" screw of your tripod, monopod, or slider.
3. Rotate the mount clockwise until it is tightly secured.

Operating Instructions

1. Attaching Your Camera to the Mount

1. With the quick release plate already attached to your camera, align the plate with the opening of the quick release mount.
2. Gently push the camera (with the plate) downwards into the mount. The system will automatically lock into place with an audible click.

2. Detaching Your Camera from the Mount

1. To release the camera, firmly press down on the red sleeve (collar) of the quick release mount.
2. The quick release plate, along with your camera, will eject automatically.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the mount and plate with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Lubrication: The internal mechanism is designed for smooth operation. Avoid applying lubricants unless specifically instructed by IFOOTAGE support, as this may attract dust and impair function.
• Storage: Store the quick release mount and plate in a clean, dry environment when not in use to prevent corrosion and damage.

Troubleshooting

• Difficulty Releasing Camera: If the release mechanism feels stiff, ensure you are pressing the red sleeve firmly and completely. The mechanism may require consistent force.
• Camera Rotation on Plate: The quick release plate uses a single mounting screw. To prevent camera rotation, ensure the screw is tightened securely. For devices prone to rotation, consider using a camera cage or plate with anti-twist pins if available.
• Wobble After Attachment: Ensure both the quick release mount is securely fastened to your support system and the quick release plate is tightly attached to your camera. Check for any debris obstructing the connection points.
