JBL PartyBox On-The-Go Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the PartyBox On-The-Go. Connect the power cable to the speaker's power input and then to a power outlet. The battery indicator will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours.

2. Powering On/Off

Press the Power button on the top panel to turn the speaker on or off.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Turn on the PartyBox On-The-Go.
  2. Press the Bluetooth button on the top panel. The Bluetooth indicator will flash, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and select "JBL PartyBox On-The-Go" from the list of available devices.
  4. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will glow solid blue.

4. Microphone Connection

Insert the wireless microphone's receiver into the microphone input on the speaker. The microphone will automatically connect. Adjust microphone volume and echo using the dedicated knobs on the speaker's top panel.

JBL PartyBox On-The-Go Operating Instructions

1. Music Playback

  • Bluetooth: Play music from your paired device. Use the volume controls on the speaker or your device.
  • USB: Insert a USB drive with audio files into the USB port. The speaker will automatically play music from the drive.
  • AUX: Connect an audio device using a 3.5mm AUX cable to the AUX input.

2. Light Show Control

Press the Light Show button to cycle through different light patterns or turn the light show off. The lights sync to the music.

3. Bass Boost

Press the Bass Boost button to enhance the bass output. Press again to turn it off.

4. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Connection

You can connect two JBL PartyBox On-The-Go speakers together for a stereo sound experience:

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on.
  2. On one speaker, press and hold the TWS button for 5 seconds. It will emit a pairing tone.
  3. Repeat this step on the second speaker.
  4. The speakers will connect automatically. The TWS indicator will glow solid on both speakers.

5. Using the Microphone and Instrument Input

Adjust the microphone volume and echo using the dedicated knobs. You can also connect an instrument (e.g., guitar) to the instrument input and adjust its volume independently.

1. Charging the Headphones and Case

Place the earbuds into the charging case. Connect the USB-C cable to the case and then to a power source. The LED indicators on the case will show the charging status. The earbuds and case can be charged simultaneously.

2. Initial Pairing

  1. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
  2. On your device, enable Bluetooth and select "JBL Vibe Beam" from the list of available devices.
  3. Once connected, the earbuds will indicate successful pairing.

3. Wearing the Headphones

Insert the earbuds into your ears and gently twist them to find a comfortable and secure fit. Experiment with the different ear tip sizes to achieve optimal sound quality and comfort.

1. Touch Controls

The Vibe Beam headphones feature touch controls on each earbud:

  • Single Tap: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
  • Double Tap: Skip forward (right earbud), Skip backward (left earbud), Reject call.
  • Triple Tap: Activate voice assistant.
  • Tap and Hold: Volume control (customizable via JBL Headphones App).

2. VoiceAware

During calls, VoiceAware allows you to control how much of your own voice you hear through the earbuds, enhancing call clarity and comfort. This feature can be adjusted via the JBL Headphones App.

3. Single Earbud Use

Either earbud can be used independently. Simply remove one earbud from the case, and it will automatically connect to your device if already paired.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • PartyBox On-The-Go: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the speaker in water.
  • Vibe Beam Headphones: Gently clean the earbuds and charging case with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth. Remove ear tips and clean them with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly before reattaching.

2. Storage

Store both products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For the Vibe Beam headphones, always store them in their charging case when not in use.

3. Battery Care

To prolong battery life, fully charge the devices at least once every 3 months if not used regularly. Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.

4. Water and Dust Resistance
