2. Setup

2.1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Upon receiving your BORUIT ET28 flashlight, carefully unbox all components and inspect for any signs of damage. The package should contain the flashlight, a USB-C charging cable, and a belt clip.

2.2. Battery Installation

The flashlight is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery. Before first use, ensure the battery insulator is removed.

1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
2. Remove the plastic battery insulator from the battery.
3. Insert the battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
4. Securely screw the tail cap back on.

2.3. Charging Instructions

The ET28 flashlight features a USB-C charging port. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the side of the flashlight, usually covered by a rubber tab.
2. Open the rubber tab and connect the provided USB-A to USB-C charging cable to the flashlight and a 5V/1A power source.
3. The indicator light will flash red while charging.
4. The indicator light will turn solid green when fully charged.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Power On/Off and White Light Modes

1. To Turn On: Single click the power button to activate the white light mode.
2. To Cycle White Light Brightness: While in white light mode, single click the power button to switch between High, Medium, Low, Burst Flash, and SOS.
3. To Turn Off: Long press the power button for approximately 2 seconds in any mode.

3.2. Color Light Modes
