Safety Information

• Age and Weight Limits: Suitable for children from 0 to 36 months. Maximum weight recommendation is 20 pounds. Discontinue use of the bassinet feature when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 20 lbs (9 kg), whichever comes first. Discontinue use of the playard when the child is able to climb out or reaches 35 inches (89 cm) in height.
• Suffocation Hazard: Infants can suffocate in gaps between an extra mattress and the side of the bassinet/playard, or on soft bedding. Use ONLY the mattress/pad provided by the manufacturer. NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding.
• Strangulation Hazard: Keep cords, blinds, and other potential strangulation hazards away from the bassinet/playard.
• Fall Hazard: Always check that the bassinet/playard is securely locked in place before use. Never leave a child unattended.
• Supervision: Always supervise your child when they are in the bassinet, playard, or shade.

1. Unfolding the Playard

1. Remove the playard from the travel bag.
2. Place the folded playard on a flat surface.
3. Pull the side rails upwards until they lock into place. Ensure all four rails are fully extended and locked.
4. Push down on the center of the floor until it lies flat and locks securely.
5. Insert the mattress/pad into the bottom of the playard.

2. Installing the Bassinet (for infants 0-5 months)

1. After setting up the playard, attach the bassinet insert to the top rails using the provided clips or fasteners. Ensure it is securely attached at all points.
2. Place the mattress/pad inside the bassinet insert.

3. Assembling the UPF 50+ Shade

The shade can be used with both the bassinet and playard modes, or as a standalone shade. Assemble carefully to avoid damage to connectors.

Folding for Storage and Travel

3. Lift the center of the playard floor to fold the unit compactly.
4. Secure the folded playard with the mattress/pad wrapped around it, then place it in the travel bag.
