Setup (Installation)

These step lights are designed for quick snap-in installation into a standard single-gang outlet box (not included). Follow these steps carefully:

1. Turn Off Power: Before starting, ensure the power supply to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
2. Prepare Junction Box: Ensure you have a standard single-gang outlet box installed in the desired location.
3. Fix Mounting Frame: Securely attach the provided mounting frame to the outlet box using the included screws.
4. Make Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to your household wiring. Connect the black wire (Line) to the live wire, the white wire (Neutral) to the neutral wire, and the green wire (Ground) to the ground wire. Use the included wire nuts and ensure all connections are tight and insulated.
5. Select Light Color Temperature (3CCT Switch): Before inserting the light body, locate the 3CCT switch on the back of the fixture. Slide the switch to select your preferred color temperature: 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Bright White), or 5000K (Daylight). This setting cannot be changed after the faceplate is snapped in.
6. Insert Light Body: Carefully insert all wires and the light body into the junction box.
7. Snap Face Plate: Align the face plate with the mounting frame and firmly snap it into place until it is flush with the wall.
8. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

Color Temperature Selection

As detailed in the installation section, the color temperature (3000K Warm White, 4000K Bright White, or 5000K Daylight) is selected via a switch on the back of the fixture before final installation. Once the faceplate is snapped into place, the color temperature cannot be changed without removing the fixture.

Dimming Function

These LED step lights are compatible with most household TRIAC dimmer switches (not included). When connected to a compatible dimmer, you can adjust the brightness level from 10% to 100% to create your desired lighting atmosphere.

Maintenance

The kadision LED Step Lights are designed for durability and minimal maintenance. Follow these guidelines to ensure optimal performance:

• Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure power is off. Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish or electrical components.
• Anti-Rust Design: The aluminum construction with an Oil Rubbed Bronze finish is designed to be anti-rust, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
• LED Lifespan: The integrated LED light source is designed for long-term use and does not require bulb replacement.

• Light Not Turning On:

  • The color temperature is set via the 3CCT switch during installation. If the wrong color is displayed, the fixture must be carefully removed to access and adjust the switch.
