5. Installation
IMPORTANT: Installation of this air conditioner must be carried out by a certified technician. Attempting to install the unit yourself may void the warranty and lead to safety hazards.
5.1. Choosing an Installation Location
- Indoor Unit: Select a location that allows for even air distribution throughout the room, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure sufficient space around the unit for maintenance.
- Outdoor Unit: Choose a well-ventilated area, free from obstructions, and away from direct sunlight or excessive dust. Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, level surface.
5.2. Electrical Requirements
Ensure the electrical circuit can handle the AC's power consumption (5700 Watts, 230 Volts). A dedicated circuit is recommended. Refer to the specifications table for detailed electrical requirements.
6. Operation
6.1. Basic Operation
Use the provided remote control to power on/off the unit, adjust temperature, and select operating modes. Point the remote control directly at the indoor unit's receiver.
6.2. Selecting Cooling Modes
Press the 'Mode' button on the remote control to cycle through the available operating modes (Cool, Fan, Dry, Auto). To activate the 5-in-1 Convertible modes, refer to your remote control's specific button or sequence, typically labeled 'Convertible' or 'Eco'.
6.3. I-Sense Technology
The I-Sense technology uses a sensor in the remote control to measure the temperature around the remote, providing more precise cooling comfort in your immediate vicinity. Keep the remote control near you for optimal performance.
6.4. Silent Operation
This AC is designed for silent operation, ensuring minimal noise disturbance. An acoustic jacket on the compressor helps reduce operational sound.
