6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your oven. The Candy C-Bake 600 offers two advanced cleaning systems.

6.1. Pyrolytic Cleaning

Pyrolytic cleaning uses extremely high temperatures (up to 470°C) to burn off food residues, turning them into ash that can be easily wiped away.

  1. Remove all accessories (trays, grids, side racks) from the oven cavity before starting a pyrolytic cycle.
  2. Wipe away any large spills or loose debris.
  3. Select the pyrolytic cleaning function on the control panel.
  4. The oven door will automatically lock during the cycle and remain locked until the oven has cooled down to a safe temperature.
  5. Once the cycle is complete and the oven has cooled, wipe away the ash with a damp cloth.

Warning: Ensure the kitchen is well-ventilated during pyrolytic cleaning, as some fumes may be produced.

6.2. Aqualytic Cleaning

Aqualytic cleaning uses steam to soften grease and food residues, making them easier to remove.

  1. Pour approximately 300 ml of water into the bottom of the oven cavity.
  2. Select the Aqualytic cleaning function. The oven will heat to approximately 90°C for 30 minutes.
  3. After the cycle, allow the oven to cool slightly.
  4. Wipe away softened residues with a damp cloth or sponge.

Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
