Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly set up and install your intelamp Solar Outdoor Light.
1. Initial Charging:
Before first use, connect the solar panel to the light unit and place the solar panel in direct sunlight for at least 5 hours to ensure the 12000mAh battery is sufficiently charged. This initial charge is crucial for optimal performance.

2. Choosing a Location:
- Solar Panel: Select a location that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day, free from obstructions like trees or buildings. The 5-meter cable allows for flexible placement away from the light unit.
- Light Unit: Mount the light unit in an area where illumination is desired, such as a garden, garage, patio, or pathway. Consider the motion sensor's detection range when positioning.
3. Mounting the Units:
- Use the provided mounting accessories to securely attach the solar panel and light unit to a wall, wooden board, or square post.
- Ensure both units are firmly fixed to prevent movement due to wind or other environmental factors.
- Connect the solar panel to the light unit using the 5-meter cable. Ensure the connection is secure and waterproof.
Operating Instructions
Your intelamp Solar Outdoor Light comes with a remote control for easy operation and mode selection.
Remote Control Functions:

Figure 4: Remote control layout and functions.
- ON/OFF: Turns the light on or off.
- 30S / 3M / 10M: Sets the high-brightness delay time after motion detection (30 seconds, 3 minutes, or 10 minutes).
- DIM / BRIGHT: Adjusts the brightness level of the light.
- Lighting Modes: Select from various lighting modes, including long-duration lighting. Refer to the remote control for specific mode icons.
Motion Sensor and Linking Function:
The light features an independent motion sensor. When motion is detected, the light will illuminate. Additionally, intelamp solar lights can link together:
- When one intelamp solar light detects motion, it sends a signal to other intelamp solar lights within a 30-meter radius.
- These linked lights will then illuminate synchronously, providing a larger illuminated area.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your solar light.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption.
- Battery: The integrated lithium-ion battery is designed for long life. Avoid prolonged periods of no charge, especially in storage.
- Inspection: Regularly check the mounting hardware and cable connections for any signs of wear or damage.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your intelamp Solar Outdoor Light, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on at night. | Insufficient solar panel charging; ON/OFF switch is off; ambient light is too bright. | Ensure solar panel is in direct sunlight for 5-8 hours daily. Turn the light ON using the remote. Relocate the light to a darker area. |
| Light duration is short. | Insufficient charging due to cloudy weather or shaded panel; battery degradation over time. | Ensure optimal solar panel placement. Allow several sunny days for full charge. Consider battery replacement if product is very old. |
| Motion sensor not detecting. | Sensor obstructed; sensor range too far; incorrect mode selected. | Clear any obstructions from the sensor. Ensure motion is within the effective range (up to 30m). Check remote settings for motion detection mode. |
| Remote control not working. | Battery in remote is dead; remote not pointed at receiver; interference. | Replace remote control battery. Ensure direct line of sight to the light unit. Minimize interference from other devices. |
| Linked lights not synchronizing. | Lights are out of 30m range; signal interference; one unit is off or uncharged. | Ensure all linked lights are within 30 meters of each other. Verify all units are charged and turned on. |
| No indicator light on the main unit. | User expects a visible indicator for charging/status. | Note: The main light unit has a small green LED diode on the front (bottom and top middle) that blinks when the solar panel receives light and stays solid when batteries are fully charged. This may not be immediately obvious. |
