5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Speaker
- Locate the charging port, typically under a protective cover on the side or back of the speaker.
- Connect the provided charger to the speaker's charging port.
- Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
- The battery indicator lights will illuminate to show charging progress. All five lights will be solid when fully charged.
- A full charge provides up to 3 days of playtime.

5.2 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power Button (⏻) for approximately 2 seconds until you hear an audible cue and the indicator lights activate.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button (⏻) for approximately 2 seconds until the indicator lights turn off.
5.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on.
- Press the Bluetooth Button (Ⓘ). The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
- Select "Turtlebox Gen 3" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will become solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
6. Operation
6.1 Basic Audio Playback
- After successful Bluetooth pairing, begin playing audio from your connected device.
- Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons on the speaker or your device to adjust the volume.
- Use the Previous Track (⏮) and Next Track (⏭) buttons to navigate your playlist.
6.2 Party Mode (Unlimited Pairing)
Party Mode allows you to connect an unlimited number of Turtlebox Original Gen 3 speakers to play the same audio simultaneously, creating a wide sound field.
- Ensure all speakers are powered on and your primary speaker is connected via Bluetooth to your device.
- On the primary speaker, press the Party Mode Button (✖). The Party Mode indicator light will flash.
- On each additional speaker you wish to connect, press the Party Mode Button (✖).
- Speakers will automatically connect. The Party Mode indicator light on all connected speakers will become solid.

6.3 2-Box Stereo Pairing
For a true stereo sound experience, you can pair two Turtlebox Original Gen 3 speakers.
- Ensure both speakers are powered on and disconnected from any Bluetooth device.
- On the first speaker (which will be the left channel), press the 2-Box Stereo Pairing Button (✖). The indicator light will flash.
- On the second speaker (which will be the right channel), press the 2-Box Stereo Pairing Button (✖).
- The speakers will automatically connect in stereo. The indicator lights on both speakers will become solid.
- Now, connect your mobile device to the primary (left channel) speaker via Bluetooth as described in Section 5.3.

6.4 Using Mic & Auxiliary Inputs
The speaker includes a standard 3.5mm microphone input and a USB-C output port, located under a protective cover.
