Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the Povasee Jump Starter. Connect the provided USB-A to C cable to the unit's USB-C input port and a suitable USB wall adapter (not included). The 3-inch LED display will show the charging progress. A full charge ensures optimal performance.

Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

  1. Connect Smart Jumper Cables: Insert the blue plug of the smart jumper cables into the EC5 output port on the jump starter. Ensure a firm connection.
  2. Connect to Vehicle Battery:
    • Attach the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
    • Attach the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery or a solid metal part of the engine block (ground).

    The indicator light on the smart jumper cable will show the connection status. A solid green light indicates a correct connection and readiness to jump start.

  3. Start the Vehicle: Once the green indicator light is solid, start your vehicle's engine. If the battery voltage is extremely low (below 9V), press the "RST" button on the smart cable to force a start.
  4. Remove Cables: After the vehicle starts, immediately remove the smart jumper cables from the vehicle battery, then disconnect them from the jump starter.

Using as a Power Bank

The Povasee Jump Starter doubles as a portable power bank. It features two USB output ports (QC3.0 output 2 (5-12V) and standard 5V/2.4A output) to quickly charge your smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices.

LED Flashlight Functions

Maintenance
