3. Assembly

The Pro Chaser PC-BL20 leaf blower is designed for quick and easy assembly.

  2. Insert Battery: Slide a charged 20V battery into the battery port on the blower until it clicks into place.

4. Charging the Battery

The Pro Chaser PC-BL20 comes with two 4.0Ah 20V Lithium-Ion batteries and a fast charger. It is recommended to fully charge both batteries before first use.

  1. Connect Charger: Plug the fast charger into a standard electrical outlet. The charger indicator light may illuminate.
  2. Insert Battery: Slide the 20V battery pack into the charger. Ensure it is fully seated.
  3. Monitor Charging: The charger will indicate the charging status. A fully depleted battery can reach 80% charge in approximately one hour.
  4. Remove Battery: Once charging is complete, remove the battery from the charger. Disconnect the charger from the power outlet when not in use.

5. Operation

Operating your Pro Chaser PC-BL20 leaf blower is straightforward. Always ensure the battery is fully charged before beginning work.

  1. Start the Blower: Press the power trigger to start the blower. The blower features two variable speed settings.
  2. Adjust Speed: Use the speed selector switch (if present, or trigger pressure) to adjust the airflow intensity. The blower can deliver up to 380 CFM (Cubic Feet Per Minute) and speeds up to 100 MPH.
  3. Engage Lock-On Switch: For continuous operation, press the lock-on switch while the trigger is engaged. This allows for hands-free operation, reducing user fatigue during extended tasks. To disengage, press the trigger again.
  4. Direct Airflow: Aim the blowing pipe towards the debris you wish to clear. Work in a sweeping motion to gather leaves and debris into piles.
  5. Stop the Blower: Release the power trigger. If the lock-on switch was engaged, press the trigger once to disengage it, then release.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Pro Chaser PC-BL20 leaf blower.

Cleaning

  • After Each Use: Disconnect the battery. Use a dry cloth to wipe down the exterior of the blower. Remove any debris from the air intake vents and the blowing pipe.
  • Avoid Water: Do not use water or cleaning solutions directly on the blower or battery.

Storage

  • Store the blower and batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • For long-term storage, ensure batteries are partially charged (around 50%) to maintain battery health.
