3.2. Motherboard Installation
The HYTE Y70 supports ATX, mATX, and ITX motherboards. Align your motherboard with the standoffs inside the main chamber and secure it with the provided screws. Ensure all necessary cables (front panel connectors, USB, audio) are routed through the L-shaped molded rubber grommet for clean management.
3.3. Graphics Card Installation
The case includes a PCIe 4.0 x16 riser cable for vertical GPU mounting. Install your graphics card into the riser cable's slot and secure it. The design allows for massive 4-slot GPUs. Ensure the riser cable is properly connected to your motherboard's PCIe slot.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your HYTE Y70 case and its components.
- Dust Filters: Periodically clean the removable dust filters located on the top, bottom, and side panels. Gently remove them and clean with compressed air or a soft brush.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the tempered glass panels and exterior surfaces with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges on glass, use a glass cleaner sparingly on the cloth, not directly on the panel.
- Interior Dusting: Every few months, open the case and use compressed air to remove dust buildup from fans, radiators, and other components.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
- No Power: Ensure the power supply is properly connected to the wall outlet and the motherboard. Check all internal power cables (24-pin ATX, CPU, GPU). Verify the power button cable is correctly connected to the motherboard's front panel header.
- Fans Not Spinning: Check fan connections to the motherboard or fan controller. Ensure fan headers are enabled in BIOS/UEFI settings.
- Components Not Detected: Re-seat the component (e.g., RAM, GPU) in its slot. Verify all necessary power cables are connected. Check motherboard manual for proper slot usage.
- Overheating: Ensure all fans are spinning in the correct direction (intake/exhaust). Verify radiators are clean and unobstructed. Consider adding more fans or upgrading cooling solutions if temperatures remain high.
- Panel Removal Difficulty: Ensure no screws are still in place if applicable. Gently but firmly pull the tool-less panels. Refer to the initial setup steps for guidance.
