Introduction

The Portronics Bubble 2.0 wireless keyboard is designed for seamless navigation across multiple devices. It offers dual wireless connectivity modes: Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4 GHz Wireless USB Receiver, allowing you to effortlessly switch between your PC, laptop, smartphone, and tablet. Its tenkeyless (TKL) design optimizes desk space, while multimedia hotkeys provide quick access to functions. The keyboard also features noiseless keys for quiet operation, triple device pairing, and an auto-standby mode for extended battery life. It is compatible with Windows, Android, iOS, and macOS operating systems.

Setup and Installation

1. Battery Installation

The keyboard requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Open the cover, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators, and close the cover securely.

2. Connecting via 2.4 GHz USB Receiver

1. Locate the 2.4 GHz USB receiver stored in the battery compartment of the keyboard.
2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer or laptop.
3. Turn on the keyboard using the power switch, usually located on the side or back.
4. The keyboard should automatically connect to your device.

3. Connecting via Bluetooth 5.3

1. Turn on the keyboard.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your device (smartphone, tablet, PC, or laptop).
3. On the keyboard, press and hold the Bluetooth pairing key (refer to the keyboard layout for the specific key, often indicated by a Bluetooth icon or a channel number like BT1/BT2).
4. On your device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "Portronics Bubble 2.0" to pair.
5. Repeat for a second Bluetooth device if desired.

Operating Instructions

1. Switching Between Devices

To switch between paired devices, press the corresponding channel key on the keyboard (e.g., for 2.4 GHz, BT1, BT2). The keyboard will connect to the selected device.

2. Using Multimedia Shortcut Keys

The top row of keys includes multimedia hotkeys. These keys provide quick access to functions such as volume control, play/pause, and mute. Depending on your operating system, you may need to press the 'Fn' key in combination with the multimedia key.

3. Auto-Standby Mode

To conserve battery life, the keyboard enters an auto power-saving sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity. To wake the keyboard, simply press any key.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the keyboard surface. For deeper cleaning, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the keycaps or internal components.
• Battery Replacement: Replace AAA batteries when the keyboard's performance degrades or it fails to power on. Always use fresh batteries and dispose of old ones responsibly.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, turn off the keyboard and store it in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

• Keyboard not responding:
  • Check if the keyboard is powered on.
  • Ensure batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge.
  • For 2.4 GHz connection, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into the device.
  • For Bluetooth connection, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the keyboard is paired. Try re-pairing if necessary.
• Lag or intermittent connection:
  • Ensure the keyboard is within the 10-meter operating range of your device.
  • Minimize interference from other wireless devices.
  • Try connecting to a different USB port for the 2.4 GHz receiver.
• Multimedia keys not working:
