Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No image/sound on monitor | Monitor/camera not powered on; Out of range; Low battery. | Ensure both units are plugged in and powered on. Move monitor closer to camera. Charge monitor battery. |
| Buzzing/Beeping sound | Monitor and camera are too close. | Move the monitor and camera further apart (recommended 5-6 feet). |
| Poor signal/intermittent connection | Obstructions; Out of range; Interference. | Lift the antenna on the monitor. Reduce distance between units. Remove large metal objects or other 2.4GHz devices. |
| Temperature reading seems high | Camera unit generates heat during operation. | The camera itself heats up when plugged in for extended periods, leading to a slightly higher temperature reading (2-4°F / 1-2°C warmer than actual room temperature). This is normal. |
| Cannot pair additional cameras | Version mismatch. | Contact HelloBaby customer support with your previous order ID to ensure compatibility for additional cameras. |
