To ensure the longevity and hygiene of your can opener:

  • After each use, wipe the cutting wheel and exterior with a damp cloth.
  • Do not rinse the can opener under running water or immerse it.
  • Ensure the device is completely dry before storing it.
  • Store the can opener in its provided case to protect it from dust and damage.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Kitchen Mama Orbit One, refer to the following guide:

Scenario 1: Low Battery

Symptom: The red indicator light blinks slowly 5 times when attempting to operate, or blinks mid-cut.

Solution: The battery is low. Recharge the can opener fully before attempting to use it again. If the light blinks mid-cut, press the button to release the blade, then recharge.

Scenario 2: Overload

Symptom: The red indicator light stays steady for 2 seconds, and the opener stops.

Solution: This indicates an overload, possibly due to a thick-walled can. Press the button to release the blade. If you were using the Triangular Blade, switch to the Cylinder Blade (designed for thicker cans) and restart the cutting process at the same spot. Note: Overlapping cuts may cause tiny metal fragments. Please handle with care.

Scenario 3: Lid Cannot Be Removed

Case 1: Lid cut but stuck

This can happen with aluminum (non-magnetic) cans, vacuum-sealed cans, cans with thick contents, or extra-sticky adhesive. Gently lift the lid with your hand or a spoon. Please handle with care to avoid injury.

Case 2: Lid not fully cut

The blade might be loose. Tighten the blade with the screwdriver and restart the cutting process from the beginning or the point where it stopped.
