Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
2. Slide or lift the cover to open the compartment.
3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Initial Power On

After installing batteries, the clock will power on automatically. The display will show default time and date settings. You will need to set the current time and other preferences.

Operating Instructions

The device features several buttons for operation: MODE, LIGHT/SNOOZE, SET, and UP/DOWN arrows.

1. Setting Home Time and Date

1. Press the MODE button repeatedly until "HOME TIME" is displayed.
2. Press and hold the SET button until the time digits start flashing.
3. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
4. Press SET again to move to minutes, then adjust with UP/DOWN.
5. Continue pressing SET to cycle through year, month, and day settings, adjusting each with UP/DOWN.
6. Press SET one last time to confirm and exit setting mode.
7. To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format, press the UP button while in time display mode (not setting mode).

2. Setting the Alarm

1. Press the MODE button until "ALARM" is displayed.
2. Press and hold the SET button until the alarm time digits flash.
3. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
4. Press SET again to move to minutes, then adjust with UP/DOWN.
5. Press SET to confirm.
6. To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the UP button while in alarm display mode (not setting mode). An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the screen.
7. To select an alarm melody, press the DOWN button while in alarm display mode. Cycle through the 16 melodies.

When the alarm sounds, press the LIGHT/SNOOZE button to activate snooze (alarm will sound again after a few minutes) or any other button to turn off the alarm for the day.

3. Using World Time Function

1. Press the MODE button until "WORLD TIME" is displayed.
2. Rotate the top bezel of the clock to select one of the 18 pre-set cities/time zones. The display will automatically adjust to show the local time for the selected city.

4. Temperature Display

The clock displays the current ambient temperature. To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F):

• In normal time display mode, press the DOWN button to toggle between °C and °F.

5. Using the LED Flashlight

The device has a built-in flashlight with 3 LEDs.

• Press the dedicated flashlight button (usually located on the side or front, as shown in Figure 2) to turn the flashlight ON.
• Press the button again to turn the flashlight OFF.

6. Backlight Function

To illuminate the display in low light conditions:

• Press the LIGHT/SNOOZE button. The display will light up for a few seconds.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display dims or functions become erratic. Always replace both batteries at the same time.
• Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
