2. Safety Information
- Always keep emergency keys in a secure location away from the safe and out of reach of unauthorized individuals. Do not store them inside the safe.

4. Product Overview
The Omethey K3-120D safe is constructed from low-carbon alloy steel, providing resistance against impact and prying. It features 8 solid 28mm locking bolts for enhanced security.

The safe is equipped with an advanced LCD digital screen panel for operation, which includes a concealed password function and displays the current date and battery status.

For enhanced security, a dual alarm system is integrated, activating with three consecutive incorrect password attempts or violent vibrations. The alarm sounds up to 70 decibels.

5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. Retain packaging materials for future transport if needed.
5.2 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the safe door or behind the keypad.
- Insert the required batteries (typically AA, not included) according to the polarity markings.
- Close the battery compartment cover. The LCD screen should power on.
5.3 Initial Code Setting
Upon first use, you will need to set your personal access code. Refer to the on-screen prompts or the specific instructions provided with the safe for the exact procedure. Typically, this involves pressing a reset button (often inside the door), entering a new code, and confirming it.
5.4 Mounting the Safe
For maximum security, it is recommended to mount the safe to a wall or floor using the provided mounting screws. Choose a discreet and secure location. Use appropriate tools to drill pilot holes and secure the safe firmly.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Opening the Safe with Your Code
- Wake up the LCD screen by touching the keypad.
- Enter your personal access code. The LCD screen will display the entered digits.
- Press the confirmation button (e.g., '#', 'ENTER').
- If the code is correct, the safe will unlock, and you can turn the handle to open the door.
6.2 Changing Your Access Code
To change your access code, open the safe door. Locate the internal reset button (usually a small button on the inside of the door or near the battery compartment). Press the reset button, then enter your new code on the keypad, and confirm it. Follow the specific instructions on the LCD screen for your model.
6.3 Using Emergency Keys
In case of battery failure or forgotten code, the emergency keys can be used to open the safe. Locate the emergency keyhole (often concealed behind a cover on the keypad). Insert an emergency key and turn it while simultaneously turning the handle to open the safe.
6.4 Understanding the LCD Display
The LCD screen displays the current date and time, as well as the battery status. A low battery indicator will prompt you to replace the batteries.
6.5 Using the Lockable Inner Cabinet
The safe includes a separate lockable inner cabinet for items requiring an additional layer of security. Use the dedicated key for this cabinet to lock and unlock it.
6.6 Adjusting Shelves
The two internal shelves are removable and adjustable. To adjust, carefully lift the shelf and reposition it to the desired height using the available shelf supports.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Battery Replacement
When the LCD screen indicates low battery, replace all batteries with new ones of the same type. Use the emergency battery box if the internal batteries are completely depleted and the safe cannot be opened electronically.
7.2 Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. The interior leather lining can be gently wiped with a dry cloth.
7.3 Regular Checks
Periodically check the locking bolts and door mechanism for smooth operation. Ensure mounting screws remain tight if the safe is mounted.
8. Troubleshooting
8.1 Safe Does Not Open with Code
- Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Incorrect Code: Verify you are entering the correct code. Try again carefully.
- Emergency Key: Use the emergency key to open the safe if electronic access fails.
8.2 Alarm System Activates Unexpectedly
- Vibration: The safe may have experienced a violent vibration. Ensure it is on a stable surface.
- Incorrect Entries: The alarm triggers after three consecutive incorrect code entries. Wait for the alarm to reset or use the emergency key.
8.3 LCD Screen is Blank or Dim
- Batteries: Batteries are likely depleted. Replace them immediately.
- Emergency Battery Box: If the screen is completely off, use the emergency battery box to power the keypad temporarily.
