Connecting Your Mini PC

Follow these steps to connect your GMKtec M5 PLUS Mini PC:

Connect your monitor(s) to the HDMI, DisplayPort (DP), or USB-C video output ports. The device supports triple display output.
Connect your keyboard and mouse to the available USB 3.2 or USB 2.0 ports.
For wired network access, connect an Ethernet cable to one of the two 2.5G RJ45 LAN ports.
Connect the power adapter to the DC Power Port and then to a power outlet.
Press the power button on the front of the Mini PC to turn it on.

Operating Your Mini PC

Initial Boot and Windows 11 Pro

Your GMKtec M5 PLUS Mini PC comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro. Upon the first boot, you will be guided through the initial Windows setup process, including language selection, network connection, and user account creation.

Display Configuration

The Mini PC supports up to three displays simultaneously, offering flexibility for various setups, including extended desktops for productivity or immersive gaming experiences.

Maintenance

RAM and SSD Upgrades

The GMKtec M5 PLUS Mini PC is designed for easy upgrades. You can expand the DDR4 RAM up to 64GB (from the installed 16GB) and the PCIe 3.0 SSD storage up to 4TB (from the installed 512GB) by simply opening the lid. No special tools are required for this process.

Cooling System

Troubleshooting

No Display Output

Ensure the monitor is powered on and correctly connected to the Mini PC's video output ports (HDMI, DP, or USB-C).
