1. Introduction

The Baicycle Electric Bike is designed for versatile use, including commuting, mountain trails, and beach riding. It features a powerful 750W motor, a removable 48V battery, and a 7-speed gear system, offering a comfortable and efficient riding experience.

2. Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Always adhere to the following safety guidelines:

Always wear a helmet that meets safety standards.
Perform a pre-ride inspection before each use, checking brakes, tires, battery, and all fasteners.
Familiarize yourself with local traffic laws and regulations regarding electric bicycles.
Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Maintain a safe speed and distance from other vehicles and pedestrians.
Be aware of your surroundings, especially in traffic or on uneven terrain.

4. Setup and Assembly

Your Baicycle electric bike comes 85% pre-assembled. Follow these steps to complete the assembly:

Unpacking: Carefully remove the bike and all components from the packaging.
Unfolding the Frame: Locate the folding mechanism on the frame. Release the latch and unfold the bike until the frame locks into place. Ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged and secure.
Handlebar Installation: Insert the handlebar stem into the fork tube. Adjust the height to your preference and tighten the quick-release lever or bolts securely. Ensure the handlebars are aligned with the front wheel.
Pedal Installation: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. The left pedal tightens counter-clockwise, and the right pedal tightens clockwise. Apply a small amount of grease to the threads and screw them firmly into the crank arms using the provided tool.
Seat Post and Saddle: Insert the seat post into the frame's seat tube. Adjust the saddle height for comfortable pedaling with a slight bend in your knee at the bottom of the pedal stroke. Secure the quick-release lever.
Battery Installation: Insert the removable battery into its compartment, typically located within the seat tube or frame. Ensure it clicks into place and use the key to lock it securely.
Initial Charge: Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the battery charging port and then to a power outlet. The charging indicator will show when charging is complete (typically 6-8 hours).
Pre-Ride Check: Before riding, double-check all bolts, quick releases, brakes, and tire pressure. Ensure everything is tight and functioning correctly.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off and Display

The intelligent LED display allows you to monitor real-time speed, battery status, Pedal Assist System (PAS) levels, and mileage. To power on the bike, press and hold the power button on the display. To power off, press and hold the same button.

5.2 Riding Modes

Your Baicycle electric bike offers three distinct riding modes:

Pure Electric Mode (PAS 1-3): Engage the throttle for motor-only propulsion. This mode is ideal for effortless cruising without pedaling.
Pedal-Assisted Mode (PAS 1-5): The motor provides assistance as you pedal. You can adjust the level of assistance (PAS 1-5) via the display to suit your desired effort and terrain. Higher PAS levels provide more motor power.
Manual Mode (PAS 0): Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle, using only pedal power. The motor will not provide assistance in this mode.

5.3 Gear Shifting

The professional 7-speed gear shifter allows you to adapt to various terrains and riding conditions. Shift gears smoothly by operating the shifter on the handlebar. Downshift for climbing hills and upshift for flat terrain or descents.

5.4 Braking System

The bike is equipped with dual disc brakes for reliable and responsive stopping power. Apply both front and rear brakes simultaneously for optimal control and shorter stopping distances. Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially at high speeds.

5.5 Folding and Portability

The Baicycle electric bike features a foldable design for easy storage and transport. To fold the bike:

Lower the seat post completely.
Fold down the handlebars.
Release the main frame folding latch and carefully fold the frame in half.
Secure any folding clamps to prevent accidental unfolding.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your e-bike.

Battery Care:
- Charge the battery fully before first use.
- Avoid completely draining the battery. Recharge after each significant use.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use, and charge it periodically if stored for long periods.
- Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures.
Tire Pressure: Check tire pressure regularly (recommended pressure is usually indicated on the tire sidewall). Proper inflation improves ride quality and prevents flats.
Brakes: Inspect brake pads for wear and ensure brake levers provide firm and responsive braking. Adjust or replace as needed.
Chain and Gears: Keep the chain clean and lubricated. Periodically check the gear system for smooth shifting and adjust if necessary.
Fasteners: Regularly check all bolts, nuts, and quick releases to ensure they are tight and secure.
Cleaning: Clean the bike with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components.

7. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Baicycle electric bike.
