2. What's in the Box

3. Setup

3.1. Connect the Base Unit

1. Connect the small end of the AC adapter to the power jack on the back of the base unit. Plug the large end into a standard electrical outlet.

2. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the telephone jack on the back of the base unit. Connect the other end to a telephone wall jack.

3.2. Install Handset Battery

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset.

2. Connect the battery pack connector securely into the jack inside the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.

3. Place the battery pack inside the compartment and replace the cover.

3.3. Charge the Handset

4. Operating Your Phone

4.1. Basic Call Functions

• Making a Call: Press TALK, then dial the desired phone number.
• Answering a Call: When the phone rings, press TALK or any dialing key (0-9, #, *).
• Ending a Call: Press OFF or place the handset back on the base unit.

4.2. Full-Duplex Speakerphone

The handset features a full-duplex speakerphone, allowing both parties to speak and listen simultaneously for more natural conversations. To activate the speakerphone during a call, press the SPEAKER button (often integrated with the TALK button or a dedicated icon).

4.3. Digital Answering System

The integrated digital answering system records incoming messages when you are unavailable. It features a lighted message counter on the base unit.

• Playing Messages (Base Unit): Press the PLAY/STOP button on the base unit. The message counter will display the number of new messages.
• Playing Messages (Handset): Access the answering system menu on the handset and select 'Play Messages'.

4.4. Bluetooth Connection

To Pair a Bluetooth Device:

4.6. Phonebook Directory

Store up to 30 names and numbers in the phonebook directory for convenient access and quick dialing.

To Add an Entry:

1. Press MENU/SELECT.
2. Scroll to 'Phonebook' and press MENU/SELECT.
3. Select 'Add New Entry' and follow the prompts to enter the name and number.

4.7. Redial

To quickly redial the last number called, simply press the REDIAL button on the handset.

During an active call, press the MUTE button to temporarily silence your microphone. The other party will not hear your voice, but you can still hear them. Press MUTE again to resume the conversation.
