3. Setup
3.1. Connect the Base Unit
1. Connect the small end of the AC adapter to the power jack on the back of the base unit. Plug the large end into a standard electrical outlet.
2. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the telephone jack on the back of the base unit. Connect the other end to a telephone wall jack.

3.2. Install Handset Battery
1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset.
2. Connect the battery pack connector securely into the jack inside the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.

4.1. Basic Call Functions

4.2. Full-Duplex Speakerphone
The handset features a full-duplex speakerphone, allowing both parties to speak and listen simultaneously for more natural conversations. To activate the speakerphone during a call, press the SPEAKER button (often integrated with the TALK button or a dedicated icon).

4.3. Digital Answering System
The integrated digital answering system records incoming messages when you are unavailable. It features a lighted message counter on the base unit.
- Playing Messages (Base Unit): Press the PLAY/STOP button on the base unit. The message counter will display the number of new messages.
