2. Radio Wave Reception and Initial Time Setting

This clock automatically sets the time by receiving standard radio waves. After battery installation, the clock will attempt to receive the signal.

  • Place the clock in a location where radio wave reception is optimal, typically near a window and away from electronic devices that may cause interference.
  • The second hand will move to the 12 o'clock position and stop, indicating it is searching for the signal.
  • Once the signal is received, the clock hands will automatically adjust to the correct time, and the digital display will show the current date. This process may take several minutes.

1. Cleaning

To clean the clock, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these may damage the finish or internal components.

Troubleshooting

  • Clock not displaying correct time or not moving:
Check battery installation and ensure batteries are fresh. If the issue persists, manually initiate radio wave reception by pressing the designated button on the back of the clock. Ensure the clock is not near strong electromagnetic interference sources.
  • Digital display is blank or dim:
Replace batteries with new ones. Ensure the clock is not exposed to extreme temperatures.
  • Radio wave reception failure:
Move the clock to a location with better signal reception, such as near a window. Avoid placing it near large metal objects, televisions, computers, or other electronic devices. Try initiating manual reception.
