4. Setup and Installation
This downlight is designed for easy, canless installation directly into drywall. A 4-inch hole cutout is recommended.
- Prepare for Installation: Turn off power at the circuit breaker controlling the light switch location. Use a voltage tester to confirm power is off.
- Cut Hole: Using a 4-inch hole saw, cut a circular opening in the ceiling at the desired installation location. Ensure there are no obstructions (e.g., pipes, wires, joists) within the ceiling space.
- Wiring the Junction Box:
- Open the remote junction box cover.
- Remove the appropriate knockout(s) for your electrical supply cable.
- Connect the supply wires: Black to Black (Live), White to White (Neutral), and Green or bare copper to Green (Ground). Secure connections with wire nuts.
- Close the junction box cover.

5. Operating Instructions
