- The appliance must be disconnected from the power supply before any maintenance or cleaning.
Setup and Installation
Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the appliance for any damage during transit. If damage is found, do not operate the appliance and contact your supplier immediately. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.
Placement
Place the beverage cooler in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources such as ovens or radiators. Ensure there is adequate space around the appliance for proper air circulation. The operating environment should have an ambient temperature of ≤ 25°C (not less than 10°C) and humidity of 60%.

Shelf Installation
The cooler comes with five wire shelves, four of which are height-adjustable. Install the shelves into the desired positions. Each shelf can hold a maximum load of 35 kg.

Door Reversal
The door hinge is set to the right by default but is reversible. Refer to the detailed diagram in the full manual for instructions on how to reverse the door swing if needed.
Initial Power-On
After placement, wait at least 2-4 hours before plugging the appliance into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Plug the appliance into a grounded 220-240 V~ / 50 Hz power outlet.
Operating Instructions
Temperature Control
The beverage cooler features stepless temperature adjustment. The temperature range is between +2°C and +12°C. Use the thermostat dial, typically located inside the cooler, to set your desired temperature. Turn the dial to a higher number for colder temperatures and a lower number for warmer temperatures.

LED Interior Lighting
The appliance is equipped with LED interior lighting, which can be switched on or off separately. This allows for better visibility of the contents and can be controlled independently of the cooling function.

Loading Guidelines
Do not overload the shelves. Ensure that bottles or cans are placed securely to prevent them from falling. Allow space between items for proper air circulation, which helps maintain consistent temperatures throughout the cooler.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Clean the interior and exterior surfaces regularly with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. The double-glazed door should be cleaned with glass cleaner. Ensure all surfaces are dry before plugging the appliance back in.
Automatic Defrosting
The Bomann KSG7289 features an automatic defrost function. This system prevents the buildup of ice and condensation on the back wall, eliminating the need for manual defrosting. Water from defrosting is evaporated automatically.
Power Saving Tips
- Do not place hot food or beverages in the cooler.
- Avoid opening the door too frequently or for extended periods.
- Ensure the door seal is clean and intact to prevent cold air leakage.
- Place the appliance in a cool, well-ventilated room.
Troubleshooting
