Setup
1. Wired Connection
Connect the keyboard to your computer using the provided USB-C to USB-A cable. The keyboard will be immediately recognized and ready for use. This connection also charges the keyboard's internal battery.

2. 2.4G Wireless Connection
Locate the 2.4G wireless USB dongle stored in the compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Insert the dongle into an available USB port on your computer. The keyboard should automatically connect. This mode is ideal for devices without Bluetooth or for a stable, low-latency wireless connection.

3. Bluetooth Connection
The keyboard supports up to three Bluetooth devices. To pair, press Fn + BT1, Fn + BT2, or Fn + BT3 to select a Bluetooth channel. The corresponding key will flash, indicating pairing mode. On your device (PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone), search for Bluetooth devices and select "SABLUTE KM84" to connect. Once paired, the light will become solid.

4. System Modes
The keyboard supports four system modes for compatibility with various operating systems:
- Fn + Q: Windows Mode
- Fn + W: macOS Mode
- Fn + E: iOS Mode
- Fn + R: Android Mode
For macOS users, if function keys do not behave as expected, press Fn + Esc to toggle the Fn key lock. This may resolve issues with media keys or other function key behaviors.
Operating the Keyboard
1. Backlight Control
The keyboard features 22 unique backlight effects. You can customize the lighting to your preference:
- Fn + \|: Cycle through 22 RGB backlight effects.
- Fn + ↑/↓: Adjust backlight brightness (5 levels).
- Fn + ←/→: Adjust dynamic backlight speed (5 levels).

- Low-Profile Red Switches: These linear switches are 0.3mm shorter than traditional switches, providing a smooth and silent typing experience with a 4ms fast response time. They offer a tactile feel without excessive noise.
- 75% Compact Layout: With 84 keys, the keyboard is compact, saving desk space while retaining essential keys for functionality.
- Full Anti-Ghosting: All 84 keys are conflict-free, ensuring every keystroke is registered accurately, even during rapid input.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To maintain your keyboard's appearance and functionality, regularly clean the keycaps and chassis. Use a soft, lint-free cloth, slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture. For deeper cleaning, keycaps can be carefully removed.
2. Battery Charging
The keyboard is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. Connect the keyboard via the USB-C cable to a power source (computer USB port or wall adapter) to charge. Charging time is typically 2-4 hours. The keyboard can be used while charging. A full charge can provide up to 365 days of standby battery life (usage time varies based on backlight settings and usage frequency).

Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not connecting via Bluetooth: Ensure the keyboard is in pairing mode (Fn + BT1/2/3 key flashing). Check your device's Bluetooth settings to ensure it's discoverable and within range. Remove previous pairings on both the keyboard and device if issues persist, then attempt to re-pair.
- 2.4G Wireless connection issues: Ensure the USB dongle is securely inserted into a working USB port. Try a different USB port. Ensure there is no significant interference from other 2.4GHz devices or USB 3.0 cables nearby.
- Keys not responding or input lag: In wireless modes, ensure the keyboard battery is sufficiently charged. If using 2.4G, try moving the dongle closer to the keyboard or using a USB extension cable. If using Bluetooth, check for interference or try re-pairing. For wired mode, ensure the USB-C cable is firmly connected.
- Backlight not working or inconsistent: Check the battery level. Use Fn + \| to cycle through modes, and Fn + ↑ to increase brightness. If the issue persists, a full charge may be required.
- MacOS function keys not working correctly: Press Fn + Esc to toggle the function key behavior. This often resolves compatibility issues with macOS system preferences.
- Poor battery life or slow charging: Ensure you are using a compatible power source for charging. While the keyboard can be used while charging, heavy usage with full backlighting may slow down the charging process.
