3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly typically takes about 45 minutes with two people. All necessary tools are included. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Lay out all components on a clean, soft surface (like a rug or blanket) to prevent scratches. Verify all parts against the package contents list.
2. Assemble the Headboard: Attach the side wings to the main headboard section. Ensure all bolts are securely tightened.
3. Connect Side Rails: Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided hardware. Do not fully tighten bolts until the frame is aligned.
4. Install Center Support: Place the central metal support bars and legs into position. These provide crucial stability for the mattress.
5. Place Wood Slats: Lay the wood slats across the frame, ensuring they are evenly spaced and secured to the side rails. The slatted platform design eliminates the need for a box spring, promoting mattress breathability.
6. Assemble Storage Drawers: Construct the two storage drawers. Attach the wheels to the bottom of each drawer for smooth operation.
7. Insert Drawers: Slide the assembled drawers into the designated compartments beneath the bed frame.
