2. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your VASTFIRE Predator Light:
- Battery Installation: Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight. Insert the two included 3000mAh 18650 rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight. Securely screw the tail cap back on.
- Charging Batteries: Connect the USB charger to a power source. Place the rechargeable batteries into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status. Ensure batteries are fully charged before first use.
- Interchangeable LED Module: The flashlight comes with red, green, and white LED modules. To change a module, unscrew the head of the flashlight. Carefully remove the current LED module and screw in the desired color module. Reattach the head of the flashlight.
- Mounting:
- Scope Mount: Attach the scope mount to your 1-inch to 30mm scope. Secure the flashlight into the mount.
- Picatinny Mount: Attach the Picatinny mount to your 20mm Picatinny/Weaver rail. Secure the flashlight into the mount.
- Remote Pressure Switch: Replace the standard tail cap with the dual control remote pressure switch for remote operation.

- Power On/Off: Press the button on the tail cap to turn the flashlight on or off.
- Remote Pressure Switch: If using the remote pressure switch, press and hold for momentary on, or click for constant on.
- Light Modes: The flashlight features a single mode (on/off) for each installed LED module. There are no adjustable brightness levels.
- Optimal Use:
- Green Light: Ideal for hog and coyote hunting, reaching up to 350 yards with approximately 2.5 hours runtime. Animals are less likely to be spooked by green light.
- Red Light: Suitable for varmint and rabbit hunting, with a range of up to 200 yards and approximately 5 hours runtime. Red light is less visible to many animals and preserves human night vision.
- White Light: Provides general illumination up to 350 yards with approximately 3.5 hours runtime. Useful for tracking, spotting, and general utility.
