Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all protective films and packing materials from the unit, including any inside the ice basket or water reservoir.
2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and well-ventilated surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper air circulation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, it is recommended to perform a self-cleaning cycle. Fill the water reservoir with purified water up to the MAX line. Press the "Ice/Clean" button twice to activate the self-cleaning mode. This cycle typically takes about 15 minutes. After the cycle, drain the water from the unit using the drain plug located at the bottom.
4. Water Filling: Open the top lid and remove the ice basket. Pour purified or distilled water into the reservoir up to the "MAX" fill line. Using purified water helps prevent mineral buildup and ensures the best ice quality.
5. Power Connection: Plug the ice maker into a grounded 115V electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Start Ice Making: After filling the water reservoir, press the "Ice/Clean" button once to begin the ice-making process. The indicator light will illuminate. The machine will start producing soft, chewable nugget ice. It can produce up to 35 pounds of ice per day.
2. Smart Control (EcozyHome App):
   • Download the "EcozyHome" app from your smartphone's app store.
   • Follow the in-app instructions to connect your ice maker to your home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
   • Once connected, you can control the ice maker remotely, schedule ice production, and monitor its status from anywhere.

   

3. Voice Control:
   • Integrate your ecozy ice maker with Alexa or Google Assistant through the EcozyHome app settings.
   • Use voice commands to start or stop ice production, check status, and more. For example, "Alexa, turn on the ice maker."

   

4. Smart Alerts: The ice maker is equipped with intelligent sensors that provide real-time notifications.
   • "Add Water" Indicator: The indicator light will illuminate when the water level in the reservoir is low. Refill the reservoir to continue ice production.
   • "Ice Full" Indicator: The indicator light will illuminate when the ice basket is full, and ice production will automatically pause. Remove ice from the basket to resume production.

   

Maintenance

1. Self-Cleaning Function:
   • Regularly use the self-cleaning function to maintain hygiene and ice quality.
   • Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
   • Press the "Ice/Clean" button twice to activate the self-cleaning cycle (approx. 15 minutes).
   • After the cycle, drain the water completely from the unit.

   

2. Regular Cleaning:
   • Wipe down the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
   • Clean the interior of the ice basket and water reservoir periodically with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly.
   • Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling and operating.
3. Water Quality: For optimal performance and longevity, always use purified or distilled water. Hard water can lead to mineral buildup, affecting ice quality and machine efficiency.
