Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport if needed.
  2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Maintenance" section for detailed cleaning instructions.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements (115 Volts).

Operating Instructions

  1. Add Water: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with clean, potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
  2. Power On: Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn on the ice maker.
  3. Select Ice Size: Press the "SELECT" button to choose between small or large ice cube sizes. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
  4. Ice Production: The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch of ice typically takes about 6 minutes. Subsequent batches may be faster.
  5. Ice Collection: Once ice is made, it will drop into the ice basket. The "ICE FULL" indicator light will illuminate when the basket is full.
  6. Water Shortage: If the water level is too low, the "ADD WATER" indicator light will illuminate. Add more water to continue ice production.
  7. Storing Ice: If ice is not used immediately, transfer it to the included ice bag and store it in a freezer to prevent melting. The ice maker is not a freezer and will not keep ice frozen indefinitely.
  8. Power Off: Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn off the ice maker when finished.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Ecozy Ice Maker.

Self-Cleaning Function:

  1. Ensure the ice maker is empty of ice and water.
  2. Fill the water reservoir with clean water.
  3. Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for five seconds to activate the self-cleaning cycle.
  4. The self-cleaning process will run for approximately 30 minutes.
  5. Once complete, drain the water from the reservoir.

Manual Cleaning:

  • Unplug the ice maker before cleaning.
  • Remove the ice basket and clean it with mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Clean the interior of the water reservoir and ice-making components with a soft cloth dampened with a mild solution of water and vinegar or a food-grade cleaning solution.
