5. Maintenance

To maintain print quality and extend the life of your printer:

  • If print quality degrades after repeated use, gently wipe the thermal print head (located in the paper loading compartment) with an alcohol swab.
  • Store the printer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Use only compatible thermal paper rolls to prevent damage to the print head.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Printer not turning on: Ensure the printer is fully charged. Connect it to the power cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
  • Unable to connect via Bluetooth: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the printer is powered on. Ensure you are connecting through the "Tiny Print" app, not directly through your phone's Bluetooth settings. Restart both the printer and your device if issues persist.
  • Poor print quality: Check if the thermal paper is loaded correctly with the print side facing the thermal head. Clean the thermal print head as described in the Maintenance section. Adjust the print depth settings in the app.
  • Paper jam: Open the paper compartment and carefully remove any jammed paper. Ensure the paper roll is inserted smoothly and not too tightly.
  • Red indicator light: A red light typically indicates that the paper is not placed properly or the paper compartment is open. Re-seat the paper roll and close the lid firmly.
