5. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to connect your Arama RJ9 Telephone Headset to your landline phone:
- Locate the RJ9 headset port on your landline phone. This port is typically labeled "Headset" or has a headset icon.

6. Operating Instructions
Wearing the Headset
- Place the headset over your head so that the ear cushion rests comfortably on one ear.
- Adjust the headband by sliding the adjustable sections until it fits securely and comfortably.
- The microphone boom can be rotated 360 degrees. Position the microphone approximately 1-2 inches from your mouth for optimal voice pickup.
- The headset can be worn on either the left or right ear by rotating the microphone boom to the desired side.

Using In-line Controls
The headset features an in-line control unit for easy management of calls:
- Microphone Mute Button: Slide the switch to "OFF" to mute the microphone. Slide to "ON" to unmute.
