4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.

4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2. Initial Power On

5.2. Taking a Measurement

1. Remove the protective cap from the measurement pins.
2. Select the appropriate material type using the 'MODE' button.
3. Gently push the two pins into the surface of the material you wish to measure. Ensure both pins are fully inserted and making good contact.
4. Read the moisture content percentage displayed on the LCD screen.
5. Once the measurement is complete, carefully remove the pins and replace the protective cap.

5.3. Understanding the Display

5.4. Hold Function

The device can record the maximum and minimum moisture readings during a measurement session. Press the 'MAX/MIN' button to view these values.

5.6. Automatic Shut-off
